So fingers crossed that I get an ipad 2 for christmas (or I might just cave and buy one for myself before then). In the meantime I have been on the hunt for the perfect ipad case, and I think I have found it. This beautiful case by Jess LC she has a fabulous jewelry line as well check out her awesome website here.
I originally found this case online about a year ago. I remember how professional I thought it looked and how it would be perfect to take to meetings because of the pockets and pen holder on the side. I must say this case looks divine the hardest part was deciding what color I wanted... originally i wanted the gold/hot pink case but I think I am going to go with the cocoa/coral one. It is still fun but a bit more toned down. So santa if your listening... this would be a fabulous stocking stuffer!!!

Beautiful Art
I love painting and hopefully will get around to doing it more before school starts again. It is such a fun way to express yourself. Recently I came across this artist, Michelle Armas, and her work is BEAUTIFUL. I have always admired abstract art that can blend so many colors and create such movement. I will definitely be purchasing a piece of hers sometime in the future, in the meantime I plan on trying to create my own works in a similar style.

Butterflies!
When Robby and I were on our honeymoon down in Key West we had to stop by the butterfly house to get a souvenir for my mom. We bought her a super cute butterfly in a lucite frame. I have since decided that someday I would like to have some lucite framed butterflies. Some how being framed in lucite really helps make them pop and look more like art rather than a science classroom. Here is a neat one on ebay that I am thinking about getting.
Butterflies are popping up all over in interior design and have been used in some great rooms!

He said Yes!!!
Robby finally agreed to let me buy something off of craigslist. :) We have been looking into purchasing our first home and as a result I have of course been dreaming of decorating each house we look at. This has resulted in many a craigslist search. ( Also for those of you who search craigslist from time to time you must download and use the "easy" button. It lets you view your search showing the pictures!! Instead of clicking and opening each title to see what the object looks like.
Using this tool I came across this super cute bench! {via}
I had originally envisioned it at the foot of our bed in our new master bedroom looking something like this :

Cute doggies and a fingerprint tree
So this morning the dogs were being so cute I couldn't resist taking this quick pic. Also I finally finished drawing my fingerprint tree for our wedding guestbook! (Robby and I put our fingerprints down and I turned them into birdies) less than a month away....yikes!

Best dressed
Then i went online the other day and fell IN LOVE with this dress from anthropologie.
It is my wedding color with beautiful flowers on it and pockets and its silk. I love love loved it. Heres the catch 22. It was sold out....in every size.
So i called the local store in richmond and asked if they happened to have any in stock... they only had a 4. That wasnt going to work.
I just happened to check again today and VOILA there was one dress in my size available i guess someone returned it!!!! Into my shopping cart it went an in 3-5 days it will be here! :) ::cue happy dance!! ::

Oh to have a store..
if i had a refurbished furniture store the following would be in them.
Two vintage drexel accent chairs for $85? Yes please. I might try to talk them down to $70 or so because you would need to re-upholster the seats.. which would be very easy and not require too much fabric. I would have to look at the wood up close but in a white walled room Iwouldn't paint the wood at all. In another room you could do a lacquer grey or even experiment with color, a fun pop of green or turquoise would be fun too. I see these chairs on the sides of an entry way table like so..
or they could be fun for a dining room table at the heads of the table. So many possibilities!
Another thing I love is this unique dresser
