november has come and gone

Wow this month seemed to fly by. So many things have happened. First off I started working woth 4year olds in a pre k class for some of my practicum hours. Its going alright but feels an awful lot like the nursery I work in...makes me rethink my desire to teach kindergarten. But we will see what jobs are available when I'm out there looking.
The biggest news by far is that I might not be student teaching this spring!!! I'm going to have to turn in an appeal to the education rewiew board and dopefully they will allow me to teach. I missed the november VRA test because of a mix up with the registration. I am realllllllly hoping for a may graduation date it fits in with all my plans and robbys too! So hopefully it will all work out one way or another. (Side note I'm typing this on my phonw and akl the letters are jumbled looking, so I hope this is readable)
Also its that time of year again. I'm trying to figure out what to give everyone for christmas. I love to make things as gifts but understand that people don't always want something handmade by me...so I'm trying to figure out what else will work. I've been making and painting these super cute letters at color me mine and have been stringing them together to create cute words for the home, like "joy" and "welcome" I'm thinking about getting robby a beer making kit for christmas? I dunno I'm not really sure how much work that takes and if he would keep up with it or if it would fall by the wayside as other little projects have.
Speaking of projects I'm about to start a major one I'm trying to make the "amy butler weekender bag" I am a very beginner sewer? (Why does that word look like the street sewers...ugh I hate not knowing how to spell) and hope that even though this is above my ability level I will be able to finish it. The bag is just so darn cute. I will be posting pictures and any advice/problems I run into along the way.

Alright off to work I go. One last thing...happy year and 6 months baby :) I love you! (I know 1 1/2 years is like a middle school sounding anniversiary but hey its a personal best lol)
