Guess what we bought..

Wow so on Monday Robby signed the lease for his new place. It is a small one bedroom but has a great patio and is super close to the ocean front and will be great for bike rides and jogs :) I am so excited and super ready for him to move out by himself! He and I were planning the furniture arrangement and picking out stuff today and we made some large purchases(yikes!) We bought a great charcoal grey sofa that i loooooove.. he likes it too but I definitely pushed for it ;) Then we have been talking about getting some accent chairs for a while now and we both have loved the slipper chairs at target. Well after looking at all of the patterns we found some that work!! And they were 15% off with free shipping!! ::happy dance!:: So we ended up getting two chairs for the price of what just one of some of the other chairs cost!!! While this great "home sale" was going on at target I decided to get us a vacuum cleaner too. I read about this bissel one on www.younghouselove.com and they love theirs.. and I loved the price 79.00 plus 15% off and free shipping too!!! YAY! I can't wait it feels like everything is coming together and its actually happening. We are gonna have a house(/condo/townhouse thingy)!!! YAY!

Robby signed the lease for the place yesterday!!! June 1st its ours :) whooo hooo!!!! So excited to start looking at couches and to start building the bed!!! Yippie :)

thrift store finds and liberty of london

I went to the thrift store again today! its all i seem to want to do, and this time i found a cute little gold peacock (im sure robby will hate it) that i like alot. I might paint him white...i dunno yet. I also found a vintage jewlery box :) Its perfect for me because while i love my jewlery tree it cant hold everything and the jewlery box i have is HUGE and takes up so much space. I really like the look of this one and for $1.50 if I change my mind down the road its no big deal.

I also went to target today and got this super cute liberty of london re-useable shopping bag! I have wanted to get something from their collection but didnt find anything that i really wanted. This bag is so useful though and was in my favorite of their prints! (Also if you use a re-useable bag a target you get 5 cents off your total purchase, not a ton but still better than nothing!)

New spring read..

I just bought The Carrie Diaries by Candace Bushnell. So far its pretty good, reading it is making me even more amped for the SATC 2 movie coming out the end of this month :) I reccomend it, plus its really pretty.
