We are going cake testing today! Yumm. I think we will end up going with plaza bakery I have always loved their cakes. Here is a picture with the proportions that I am looking for.

We will hopefully get a jadite cake stand off ebay and I have been making some crepe paper flowers to adorn the cake.Also dont forget about these cake toppers that I made to put on top!

Another craigslist room

Ahh Saturday. I have been waiting for you :) I have decided that today will be a busy day. I am going to paint. I want to go to jerrys art-a-ramma and get things to paint. I also wish there was a good flea market around. i am trying to find one online but cant...:/

To start off the morning I decided to just browse the craigslist to see what I could find.... so here we go

Now this little beauty just needs some TLC and for 20 bucks I'd say its totally worth it. Just paint the chair... perhaps a fun color? like turquoise or light pink? or other wise just white or black glossy would work then (although i dont mind the cheetah it just depends what condition the fabric is in) you could get some new fabric and reuphoster that baby.

So there are some nice little changes around the blog :) This snow day has allowed me some time to add a new header and some fun links at the top. Im still trying to figure out the code to center those bad boys and get rid of the lines around them :( maybe some day.

Hopefully there will be a new fun post later right now im off to lay on the couch and catch up on some DVR goodness.

Ready for more fun craigslist finds? I am.... its basically my obsession.
Now I know these look a little strange but im thinking of them next to a sofa with perhaps an orchid on one and a fun lamp on the other. These would help a room get that layered feeling that we strive for with good design. These+orchid+wooden coffee table =perfection.

This is such a cute little display shelf. It would need to be painted either white or a fun color like chartreuse or turquoise ... even some fun wallpaper in the back to make the shelves pop a little??
