Wedding shoes...
I found these from a wedding website today and I looove them! They are so pretty, now I just cant decide if I would rather have these or the seafoam flats that I already purchased...hmm (the seafoam ones were so cheap I would't mind just keeping them and wearing them whenever) The inside is so pretty and they have a blue sole!! lol

Thinks im looking at online..
After the failed ModCloth dress I am still on the hunt for bridesmaid dresses. Seafoam is such a hard color to come by, turquoise no problem, tiffany blue there are tons!, aqua still lots of options...but Seafoam? nope. nada. zip.
I have found one or two that look promising and just recently found this beauty on Etsy.com They are custom made! and look so cute for such a reasonable price!
We shall see, it looks kinda seafoam... but im not sure if it is exactly the color i want. I might pay for a color swatch or something so I can double check but right now im really liking this option. Bridesmaids any comments?
Also I want this skirt...it will be mine. If I can find the damn thing in forever 21 I hate how jumbled everything is.

A rather blustery day
Well i guess this weather is a good excuse for me to stay inside and study for my comps exam :( boo. I really really don't want to study for it but I must. Instead I would rather own a pair of these and be out playing in the rain!
Also I LOVE KINDERGARTEN!!! I have had so much fun with the kids and love helping to teach the class. Its going to be a lot of work but I am looking forward to having 2 awesome classes to work with :)

flowers, fall, and furniture layouts
Yikes! Today is the last day of freedom tomorrow its off to school! Im so excited to be with the little kindergartners! Yesterday I wanted to get the house ready for fall and get out my pumpkins!! I will post more pictures later but here are a few cute pumpkins and an owl candle holder that I got out and ......drum roll please... THE BEAUTIFUL FLOWERS!!! Robby brought them home for me yesterday when he came home from playing golf :) Yay! I was so excited they are beautiful and was such a sweet gesture. We have both been so busy I feel like I only see him for 2 minutes in the morning before he goes to work these days. Hopefully that will change a little bit once I get into a routine with teaching.
Another thing I did today was a furniture layout for a friends mom. I loooove doing stuff like this and find it fun to give her a layout option to consider. Unfortunately I didnt get to measure the room or the furniture so I don't know if this plan is 100% realistic but I think it looks cute.

ps. GO HOKIES!!! Hopefully I can stay awake to watch the game tonight!!

Wall collages make me smile
I love wall collages and I know that in the interior design world they have been around for a while but they are just so pretty. To me displaying lots of art really makes a house a home. And it helps that I love to paint so lots of the art I made myself :) Another thing I like about them is that they can add a lot of impact to a room with out costing a ton of money.
This collage is in our hall and the robot picture is actually a post card that I got from zazzle.com for $1.50 is a picture from vol25 That was a great solution for me that was super cheap :) another cheaper alternative to make art was my "Keep calm and carry on" poster. I have been looking at them on etsy.com and they are $11-$20 not too expensive but still for me I would rather have a less expensive solution. Well i was walking with Robby in Barnes and Noble and I saw a red gift bag that had the slogan on it. I checked the price and...$4 ahh this was better I started thinking if i could use it, the only problem was that the handle was on the bag so I couldn't cut out just the rectangle and frame it. I bought it anyways and when I got home I decided to cut out a circle shape on the top and bottom so that I could cut the handles out :) perfect. The awesome painting i bought from Brittany Johnson after seeing her work on the granby street window art show. Her work is amazing and she did this custom painting for Robby and I! The colors are so vivid and the texture is awesome too!!
This next collage is the living room and it was a great way to play up our super high wall. Since we have cathedral ceilings we definitely had to put something up there to really draw the eye up and make a statement. Thanks to frames from the dollar store!! and Micheal's with 40% coupons we were able to amass our art collection and get it all up on the wall. Robby and I did all of the paintings and my mom actually did the lion sketch when she was my age. My favorite of the pictures is the three photos in one frame in the center. They are pictures from the 4th of July when Robby proposed. <3!! There is one of the fireworks, one of the lights at the boardwalk and then one of us :)

ps. my mom's boss is letting me borrow her daughters wedding veil! its perfect and im super excited to wear it!!!
