Oh to have a store..

if i had a refurbished furniture store the following would be in them.

Two vintage drexel accent chairs for $85? Yes please. I might try to talk them down to $70 or so because you would need to re-upholster the seats.. which would be very easy and not require too much fabric. I would have to look at the wood up close but in a white walled room Iwouldn't paint the wood at all. In another room you could do a lacquer grey or even experiment with color, a fun pop of green or turquoise would be fun too. I see these chairs on the sides of an entry way table like so..

or they could be fun for a dining room table at the heads of the table. So many possibilities!

Another thing I love is this unique dresser

How cool is the inside of this dresser?? I love it. I think I would paint it maybe a navy color? or even keep it natural wood I would have to see it. But still pretty cool.

I love the way Angelina's hair looks in this pic!! Minus the long piece hanging down on that you can see by her chin, I love it! Its done up but not too perfect still romantic looking :)

I am also loving the way her hair looks at the top here (Just pretend like the part that is still down doesn't exist). If it would be possible to have it poofed up like that I like it.

I also like the smooth look of this hair-do.

Same thing with this next one. I like the sleek look of it no fussy curls all over the place.

I also like the back of this one a little bit different but still simple and not to curly or fussy.

My life

This is a common sight in our house these days. Maverick is still trying to figure out this new puppy thing. I am pretty sure he has figured out she is staying....and I dont think he likes it so much. Piper definitely has been stealing Robby's attention and Maverick does not approve one bit.

But I mean come on look at that puppy face. Sooo cute.

Anywhoo spring break has been wonderful I have gotten some wedding things done (I will post a sneak peek at some projects later today) And I have relaxed!!!! The other day I went on a home and garden tour with my mom. I enjoyed seeing all the huge houses and I thought it was funny that there was at least some sort of leopard print in each home. (one even had leopard print wallpaper) i liked it. I also saw what tons of money and no taste can buy....yuck. I saw these beautiful tulips on that sunshiny day! I love tulips they are soo pretty :)

Also yesterday I cut 5 inches off my hair! YIKES! but its still pretty long, at least its manageable. I wanted it down for the wedding so i was growing it out but now I have had a change of heart since it is going to be so hot so up it will go.

More craigslist finds

Wow so I just found these stools on craigslist. $40 for the pair.

You could paint these soo easily and change the fabric even easier! for ~$55 bucks you could have a brand new pair of stools! Ahh why dont we have space! I would get these and

transform them in a second. They would look so cute under an entryway table

and could be pulled out for extra storage in a pinch. Like these:

Or used at the end of a bed!!

The possibilities are endless :)

Someone go get them. I know Robby will be mad if i do!

x-bench marks the spot

x-benches have been around for a while and only two days ago Jenny from the little green notebook posted this wonderful post about a Dorothy Draper bench that she saw on ebay.Well today while just browsing craigslist I found a pair of "end tables" That could easily have a piece of wood cut and upholstered to replace the glass and turn them into fun ottomans.

And two for $45...instead of one for $700 sounds like a good deal to me :)
